    Ana Delia Hernandez

    Ana Delia Hernandez is a registered psychological assistant with the board of psychology, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a Public Health ambassador with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. Her passion lies in working with underserved communities and aims to make mental health therapy more accessible to marginalized populations.

    She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from California State University, Los Angeles and her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, with a specialization in Latino Family Studies, from Pacific Oaks College. She is currently working towards attaining her doctoral degree in Applied Clinical Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. As part of her doctoral dissertation, she is exploring self-care practices and the impact of burnout in Latinx mental health clinicians who serve those impacted by trauma.

    Over the last several years, Ms. Hernandez has worked extensively with survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, victims of crime and those who suffer from complex trauma. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Her specializations include domestic violence, grief and loss, the psychological impact of domestic violence on children and clinician self-care.
